A step-by-step guide through VitalSync's first-launch onboarding experience.

Onboarding Walkthrough
When you launch VitalSync for the first time, you will be guided through a short onboarding sequence.
Step 1 — Welcome Screen
The welcome screen introduces VitalSync's privacy-first approach. Your data never leaves your device.
Step 2 — Health Permissions
You will be asked to grant Apple Health permissions. Tap Allow All for the best experience. See Granting HealthKit Permissions for details.
Step 3 — Your Profile
Enter basic information used to calculate your BMR and personalised health targets:
- Age and Sex (for BMR calculation)
- Height and Weight
- Activity Level (Sedentary → Very Active)
Step 4 — Biometric Lock (Optional)
Enable Face ID or Touch ID to protect your health data. This can be changed later in Settings → Security.
Step 5 — Dashboard
You are now on the Dashboard. VitalSync will begin syncing data from Apple Health in the background.
Tip: Tap the Force Sync button at the top of the Dashboard to pull the latest data immediately.
